Today’s Blessing

Some mornings you need one good word before the day gets loud. This page gives you a fresh blessing of the day every morning, along with a short prayer and a Bible verse to carry with you. Read it with your coffee, pray it over your family or send it to a friend who needs it. Each daily blessing comes with a free image you can save and share. Come back tomorrow for a new one. For cards you can print and keep, browse our printable blessing cards.

What You Will Find Here Each Day

Every morning, this page refreshes with three things:

• Today’s blessing: one short, original blessing written for real life.
• A short prayer: two or three sentences you can pray in under a minute.
• A Bible verse: a King James Version verse that fits the day’s blessing.

Under the blessing you will also find a matching image and simple buttons to copy the text, download the picture or share it straight from your phone. Missed a day? The last seven blessings are listed below today’s, so you can catch up or find the one a friend mentioned.

The blessing changes at midnight Eastern Time, so everyone who visits on the same day sees the same blessing. That makes it easy to pray together with a friend, a small group or your family.

How to Use Today’s Blessing

1. Read it first thing. Open the page with your morning coffee before you check email or news.
2. Pray it out loud. Read the short prayer slowly. Add a name or two if someone is on your heart.
3. Read the verse. Let it sit for a moment. Some readers copy it into a journal.
4. Send it to one person. Tap Share to text the blessing or image to a friend, a parent or a grown child.
5. Make it personal. Want their name on it? Copy the blessing into our blessing card maker and add a name in seconds.

Bible Verses of the Day

The verse that comes with each daily blessing is quoted from the King James Version (KJV). See our Scripture Sources and Translations page for how we check every verse. Here are a few that appear in the rotation:

• Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV): “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” The heart of a daily blessing page.
• Psalm 5:3 (KJV): “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” For starting the day in prayer.
• Psalm 90:14 (KJV): “O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.” A morning verse for the whole family.
• Psalm 143:8 (KJV): “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.” For a day with a big decision.
• Psalm 68:19 (KJV): “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” A reminder to count today’s blessings.
• Matthew 6:11 (KJV): “Give us this day our daily bread.” Short enough to memorize on the way to work.
• Hebrews 3:13 (KJV): “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” The reason to share today’s blessing with a friend.
