About BlessYourDay

BlessYourDay is a home for original blessings, short prayers and Bible verses you can send to the people you love. Every page is written to help you find the right words in under a minute, whether you are texting a friend on a hard Monday or writing in a birthday card for your mom.

Why we started

Most of us want to encourage someone, but the words do not always come. When we searched for a simple Monday blessing or a prayer to write in a sympathy card, we kept finding the same recycled lines, pages crowded with pop-ups, and Bible verses quoted from memory with words missing. We wanted something calmer and more careful.

So we built BlessYourDay: a quiet, fast site where every blessing is written for real moments, sorted by how you will actually use it, and paired with images you are free to save and share.

What you will find here

What we believe about the work

Original words. We write our own blessings. When we share a traditional blessing, such as an Irish blessing or the priestly blessing from Numbers 6, we label it as traditional and explain where it comes from.

Careful with Scripture. We quote public-domain translations, mainly the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB), and check every verse against the published text. Our scripture sources page explains how.

Warm, not preachy. BlessYourDay is Christian at heart and welcoming to everyone. We do not argue about denominations, and we never promise health, wealth or outcomes that only God can give.

Easy to share. Our images are free for personal sharing. Read the image license for the details.

Who writes BlessYourDay

BlessYourDay was founded by Hanzala, who researches, writes and reviews every page on the site. You can read how content is planned, written and checked in our editorial policy.
