Editorial Policy and How We Use AI

We want every page on BlessYourDay to be useful, accurate and kind. This policy explains how our content is planned, written, checked and updated, including how we use AI writing tools.

How we choose what to write

We start with the moments people actually look for words: a Monday text, a birthday card, a prayer before surgery, a grace for Thanksgiving dinner. We study what readers search for, which questions they ask and what existing pages leave out, and then plan a page that answers the need better.

How we write

  • Every blessing is written to be original. We do not copy or lightly reword blessings from other websites.
  • Traditional blessings and prayers are labeled as traditional, with their origin explained.
  • We write in plain, warm language at an easy reading level, with short paragraphs you can read on a phone.
  • We avoid fake statistics, made-up quotes from real people and any promise of medical, financial or other outcomes.

How we use AI tools

We use AI writing assistants as a tool, the same way a writer might use a thesaurus or an editor. AI helps us research questions, organize a page and produce first drafts of blessings and images. A human then reviews every page before it is published: we read each blessing, rewrite what does not sound natural, remove anything inaccurate and check every Bible verse by hand.

The images on BlessYourDay are created with AI image tools and finished by hand with text overlays. They show peaceful scenes, not real people, and they are not photographs of real events.

How we check Scripture

Every Bible verse is checked word for word against a published public-domain translation, usually the King James Version (KJV) or the World English Bible (WEB). The translation is shown next to every reference. Our scripture sources page has the full details.

Corrections and updates

If you spot a mistake, a misquoted verse or a broken link, please tell us through our contact page. We review every correction, fix confirmed errors quickly and update the page date when a change is meaningful. Seasonal pages are refreshed each year before the holiday.

BlessYourDay may show advertising or link to products in the future. Advertisers never decide what we write, and any sponsored content will always be clearly labeled.
